Steps to Register

Once you have completed the admissions process, it’s time to register for classes. Here’s what you need to do.
If you are registering for short-term training classes in Workforce Continuing Education,
If you are registering to earn a degree or diploma, follow the instructions below.

Step 1 | See an Academic Advisor and Register

Connect with Ä¢¹½tv’s Student Services located in A-Building for assistance with registration and course selection, or to talk about what career path might be right for you.

Registration and Advising Virtual Appointments

New or Returning Students
  • Interested in Transferring to a University?

Career & College Promise (CCP) Students

Step 2 | Create your Student Account

Your student account portal is called Self Service. It’s the gateway to your student email and a variety of other important tools.

  1. Go to “Self-Service
  2. Click on Activate Account”
  3. Click on the blue “Create/Reset Password” button
  4. Login using your student username. Example: John Doe – john019876 (first name, two-digit day of birth, last four digits of student ID number)
  5. Be sure to store your username, password, and student ID in a secure location because you will need this information for future access

Step 3 | Pay for Classes

Ä¢¹½tv has a variety of ways to pay for college classes. Remember that you must pay by the payment deadline in order to reserve your spot. Once you have created a student account, you are able to set up payments using a . If you set up a payment plan it needs to be done prior to the payment deadline.

Step 4 | First Day at Ä¢¹½tv: New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation at Ä¢¹½tv is your guide to success at Ä¢¹½tv! New students attending Ä¢¹½tv for the first time must complete orientation after registering for classes. You will receive important information and resources needed to be successful during your time as a student.

To reserve your spot, please complete the New Student Orientation registration.
